NO-ONE can accuse Hyde United of taking it easy in the summer after lining up EIGHT pre-season friendlies.
First up is Evo-Stik League West Division side Colne, who have just sold midfielder Alex Curran to National League side Stockport County, on July 9 before heading over top West Yorkshire to face Silsden on July 13.
Hallmark Security League outfit 1873 Northwich, once known as Northwich Victoria, are next to visit Ewen Fields on Tuesday, July 16.
Trips to Glossop North End and Pontefract Collieries are then followed by the showpiece of pre-season, the Mark Worthington Memorial Match against League One side Rochdale on Tuesday, July 30.
Hyde’s preparations for the Evo-Stik League Premier Division campaign are rounded off by a home match against Frickley Athletic on Saturday, August 3 before the Ray Stanley Shield against Tameside rivals Droylsden on Saturday, August 10.
