JOE Adshead is in a rich vein of form at Werneth Low Golf Club after winning back-to-back majors.
He landed the biggest prize in the calendar with victory in Captain’s Weekend.
Joe, a former junior at Denton and member at Didsbury, shot nett rounds of 71 and 65 for 136.
That gave him a three-shot margin of victory over Kevin Tipper, father of club professional Jamie, with 70 and 69 for 139.
Joe’s other major success came in the Eric Madden after a round of 80-12-68.
That was three shots clear of Shaun Sidebottom (83-12-71) who was runner-up on the card from third-placed George Leigh (98-27-71) and Ben Wheatley (82-11-71).
